Terms and Conditions for car rental

In order to rent a vehicle, the renter must:

• Have a minimum age of 23 * years, with a driver's license issued at least one year ago.

• Have a Greek, European (for EU countries) or International (for non-EU countries) driving license.

• Have a personal credit card or (if he does not have a credit card) pay in cash the guarantee amount of the car which will be returned to him upon delivery.

Vehicle collection

• The tenant must have the following with him when receiving the vehicle:

1. Valid legal driving license.

2. His personal credit card. (No DEBT)
- Third party cards are not accepted unless there is a written validated authorization.
- In case the tenant does not have a credit card he can rent a vehicle by paying the amount of the car guarantee in cash.

• Upon receipt of the vehicle, the tenant will be given the Lease Agreement which he will have to check and sign. The Lease Agreement will present all the services / insurances provided as well as any of the additional services / insurances the tenant wants, with the corresponding charges.

• It is very important at the time of receipt, the tenant of the vehicle to carefully inspect the vehicle together with the executive of zervakis rentals and to agree on the recording of any previous damages. The tenant will be asked to sign upon receipt of the vehicle the relevant proof of receipt and delivery status of the car, based on which the return of the vehicle will be received.

Insurance

ZERVAKIS RENTALS vehicles are insured:

1. against third parties (excluding the driver) for death and personal injury.

2. for material damage to third parties (excluding ZERVAKIS RENTALS vehicle

3. legal coverage.

Mixed Insurance (C.D.W. - TP) with Exemption

In any accident or in case of theft - fire of Golden Rent's car for which the lessee is responsible, he is obliged to participate in the restoration of the damages of the company's car with the amount of:

500 € for cars of category A

500 € for cars of category B

600 € for cars of category C

600 € for cars of category C

700 € for cars of the category 4X4

700 € for cars of category A / T

The above prices do not include VAT. 24%.

In case the driver-tenant of the ZERVAKIS RENTALS vehicle is not responsible, it will not be charged at any cost.

Note: The above insurance does not cover damages caused while the driver is under the influence of alcohol or toxic substances, in violation of the Road Traffic Code (L2696 / 1999 FEK 57A) or by persons who are not listed as drivers in lease agreement, as well as in case the registration of the event is not presented by the traffic or accident care service of the insurance company that is insured Golden Rent vehicles.

The above-mentioned exemption of the tenant does not include the cases of damage to the underside of the car, wheels (tires, wheels), burning of seats, loss of keys and any loss of car parts.

Mileage charge

CATEGORY B, B1: 0.00 € / kilometer

CATEGORY C, C1, C2: 0.05 € / kilometer

CATEGORY D, D1, D2: 0.00 € / kilometer

CATEGORY E, CRG1: 0.05 € / kilometer

CATEGORY F, CRG2: 0.00 € / kilometer

CATEGORY G, CRG3: 0.05 € / kilometer

Receipt / Return
For delivery or receipt of a car before 7:00 in the morning and after 22:00 in the evening there is an extra charge of 20.00 euros.

The above prices do not include VAT. 24%.

Accident file costs

The tenant is charged with € 15.00 in case of a fault accident. This amount is non-refundable.

Infringement management costs

The tenant is responsible for the payment of fines that may arise from violations of the K.O.K. while renting a car. In case they are not paid by the tenant and mediation of the company ZERVAKIS RENTALS is needed for their payment, there will be a charge of € 20.00 in addition to the cost of violation (Violation management costs).

Loss or destruction of a key

In case of loss or destruction of a key during the rental, then the tenant will have to pay the following amounts respectively:

€ 80.00 - € 200.00 for the categories B, B1, C, C1, C2

€ 100.00 - € 250.00 for the categories D, D1, D2, E

€ 200.00 - € 350.00 for the categories F, G, CRG1, CRG2, CGR3

Car interior

In case the vehicle is returned with stains that require special cleaning (eg animal hair, sand, etc. in the seats, on the floor or in the trunk, etc.), the renter is charged with the amount of 80,00 € .

Fuel

The car is delivered with whatever fuel is inside and with the same level is returned.

Property rental extension

If the tenant wishes to keep the rental vehicle longer than the period already agreed, he should contact ZERVAKIS RENTALS 2 days before the end of the lease, to note the extension of the lease in the Lease Agreement.

Car replacement

Car replacement after an accident or mechanical failure, is done after consultation within 48 hours for the period from 14/9 to 14/6 and within 48 hours for the period from 15/6 to 14/9.

Cancellation of reservation

In case you wish to cancel your reservation you will not be charged any costs. The cancellation of the reservation is made either through our website www.zervakisrentals.gr or by calling the phones listed on our website.

In case of return of the vehicle before the date stated in the lease agreement, no refund will be made.

Online booking

Any booking made through the zervakis rentals website is only valid when confirmed via email by zervakis rentals.

Zervakis rentals when confirming a reservation through the website informs about all the relevant procedures, in order for the reservation to take effect. The reservation is valid only when all the procedures set as a condition in the booking confirmation message are completed.

Possible requests to change an already confirmed booking should only be made via email or through the website booking system, if available. Any changes are only valid if confirmed by zervakis rentals.

All bookings made through our website are governed by the same terms of use, which govern all bookings, as explicitly stated above.

Credit Card - Cash

Zervakis rentals accepts the following credit cards: Visa, American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard. In case of choosing a method of payment in cash, it is necessary to pay a guarantee (cash) or if you have a credit card, the contract states the full number of the credit card from which no amount is committed unless the renter-driver of zervakis rentals car violates them terms of agreement stated in the contract.
